Champions Linfield moved up to fourth in the Premier League table after a goal feast at Windsor Park. Striker Peter Thompson netted the only goal of the first half but Armagh got level through Ciaran O'Connor.
Goals from Glenn Ferguson and Stephen Douglas put Linfield 3-1 and City snatched another through Stephen Hynds.
Two goals in two minutes from Ferguson and Thomas Stewart made it 5-2 to Linfield who then conceded a third scored by Armagh's Shane Coney.
