 Steven Ferguson set Newry on their way to victory at Inver Park |
Newry bounced back from their 8-0 midweek thumping by Crusaders by hitting four past Larne in the Carnegie Premier League clash at Inver Park. Steven Ferguson netted a 16th minute opener after keeper Chris Keenan failed to hold Richard Clarke's shot. Clarke squeezed the ball in from a tight angle to to double the lead on 53 minutes and Ray Fitzpatrick added the third on the hour mark. Andy Crawford slotted home to complete the scoring six minutes later.
