 Eddie Patterson |
Cliftonville manager Eddie Patterson has vowed to fight an eight-match touchline ban imposed by the Irish FA's disciplinary committee. According to the IFA, Patterson broke the terms of an earlier ban by going into his team's changing rooms during a match and at half-time.
"It is a joke, I am going to appeal. As far as I am concerned I have not done anything wrong," said the Reds boss.
Glenavon manager Colin Malone has been banned for two fixtures.
Patterson's suspension comes hot on the heels of a five-match ban imposed in relations an incident last season.
However, his team's form has not suffered as they are unbeaten after six CIS Cup games and Saturday's 3-0 opening league win at Linfield.
