 Chris Scannell's late effort was deflected into the net |
An 84th minute equaliser from Chris Scannell saw the Reds top their group. Damien Whitehead missed two early chances for the Bannsiders and Davy Patton went close while Scannell saw his effort blocked by Davy O'Hare.
Patton got on the end of Gareth Campbell's long clearance and finished with a deft lob over the head of John Connolly to make it 1-0 on 31 minutes.
David McAlinden was carried off before Scannell's goal which came off Ryan McLaughlin on its way into the net.
