Larne goalkeeper Chris Keenan has not given up hope of representing Northern Ireland in the 2006 Milk Cup. Keenan, part of the NI Under-19 squad, was injured in accidental training ground collision on Tuesday evening.
However, fears that Keenan had suffered a leg break have been allayed and he could yet play for Northern Ireland in the competition.
Keenan suffered tissue damage but he remains hopeful that pain killers may enable him to line out.
