Rory Hamill could have been back in a Coleraine shirt

Bannsiders boss Marty Quinn had expressed interest in bringing the former Ballycastle Road player back to the club but terms could not be agreed.

"We looked at a loan arrangenent and paying a percentage of the wages but Tommy (Wright) wanted a straight move," he told the Ireland's Saturday Night.

"Rory is on a good deal at Ballymena which we couldn't match as we are on a strict budget," added Quinn.
