Elliott Morris suffered a hamstring injury in the first leg |
Glentoran goalkeeper Elliott Morris faces a race againt time for the Uefa Cup qualifying round return leg against SK Brann in Norway on 27 July. Morris was forced off with a hamstring injury during Thursday night's 1-0 first leg defeat at the Oval.
The 25-year-old will miss a series of pre-season friendlies as he battles to be fit for the second leg.
The Glens impressed against the full-timers despite going down to a 69th minute goal from Migen Menelli.
Manager Paul Millar felt his players had "deserved at least a draw".
"If a neutral had been here tonight, they wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the sides," Millar told BBC Sport.
"We've been beaten 1-0 but we're still in the tie.
"I was delighted with the application the boys showed and their desire to do well for Glentoran Football Club."
Millar pointed to a number of great saves made by Brann goalkeeper Johan Thorbjornsen.
"We created chances and we were very unlucky not to score at least one goal."
