Glentoran boss Paul Millar says that the tie is still alive |
Glentoran manager Paul Millar felt his players had "deserved at least a draw" in Thursday's 1-0 Uefa Cup qualifying round first leg defeat by SK Brann. "If a neutral had been here tonight, they wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the sides," Millar told BBC Sport.
"We've been beaten 1-0 but we're still in the tie.
"I was delighted with the application the boys showed and their desire to do well for Glentoran Football Club."
Millar pointed to a number of great saves made by Brann goalkeeper Johan Thorbjornsen.
"We created chances and we were very unlucky not to score at least one goal."
