Viking FK 1-0 Portadown
Ronnie McFall
Ronnie McFall's side put up a brave display against Viking FK
Portadown lost this Uefa Cup qualifying first round tie 3-1 on aggregate with Toni Nhleko's 56th minute header adding to their 2-1 first-leg deficit.

Nhelko nodded home Ronny Deila's back-post header following Peter Kopteff's dangerous free-kick delivery.

Egil Ostenstad, Allan Garde and Bjorn Dahl had chances to extend the lead.

The Irish League part-timers put on a brave display against the club managed by former Blackburn and Inter Milan boss Roy Hodgson.

Clear sights ogf goal proved few and far between for either team, with Viking restricted on the whole to efforts from distance.

Ronnie McFall's side were competitive in every area of the pitch although Viking enjoyed the majority of the possession.

Portadown's best attacks came from down the flanks and a number of teasing deliveries were sent across the penalty area without success.
