Collins talks to Glens officials
Roddy Collins
Roddy Collins wants to succeed Roy Coyle at Glentoran
Roddy Collins held talks with Glentoran board members after watching the club's 1-0 Nationwide Irish Cup win over Ballyclare Comrades on Saturday.

The former Bangor, Carlisle United, Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians boss has expressed a keen interest in the vacant managerial position at the Oval.

Collins, who played for Crusaders, says he can bring major investment to the club if he was to take over the reins.

Brooks Mileson, who owns Gretna FC, is thought to be the potential investor.

"I know I am the man for the job. Glentoran needs to be lifted and I can lift them to the top.

"I am a confident man and I know the game and how to work it. I will bring success and I will bring investment," Collins told the News Letter.
