NI Under-21s face Israel matches

David Scullion has been in fine form for Dungannon swifts
Six Carnegie Premier League players have been included in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for two friendly matches away to Israel.

Team manager Roy Millar has included Larne's Kris Linsday, Sean Ward of Glentoran, Aaron Callaghan of Limavady and Coleraine's Kyle McVey in defence.

Newry City's Richard Clarke and Dungannon star David Scullion have been selected as midfielders.

The Northern Ireland boys face Israel on 6 and 8 February.

Northern Ireland Under-21 squad - goalkeepers: Michael McGovern (Celtic), Paul Willis (Liverpool); defenders: Kris Lindsay (Larne), Sean Ward (Glentoran), Aaron Callaghan (Limavady United), Rory McArdle (Sheffield Wednesday), Kyle McVey (Coleraine), Jeff Hughes (Lincoln City), Emmet Friars (Notts County), Mark McCrystal (Derry City).

Midfielders: Brian Gilfillan (Stranraer), Sammy Clingan (Nottingham Forest), Richard Clarke (Newry City), David Howland (Birmingham City), David Buchanan (Bury), David Scullion (Dungannon).

Forwards: Kyle Lafferty (Burnley), Darren Smylie (Newcastle), Michael McGowan (Clyde), Tommy Stewart (Wolves)
