Kevin Keegan joined Dungannon from Glentoran |
Two Irish League players are looking for new clubs before the transfer window closes on Tuesday. Dungannon Swifts manager Joe McAree has made Kevin Keegan available to other clubs, claiming that the player's good early season form has dipped.
Armagh City defender Alan Murphy has quit the club after a series of disagreements with boss Colm Malone.
However, Cliftonville striker Nathan McConnell has had his transfer request turned down by the club.
McConnell has attracted interest from Coleraine, who made a tentative inquiry about the the player earlier this month.
Murphy, who played more than 450 games in an 11-year spell at the club, is urgently seeking pastures new.
"Having played a pivotal role in gaining promotion last season I have found this term that I have to prove myself every week.
"I feel that I haven't been shown any respect and even man-of-the-match performances have failed to win loyalty with the manager," said the 32 year old.
Keegan joined Dungannon at the start of the season but has failed to make the desired impact.
"I've had to think long and hard about this decision but I believe it is in the best interests of Kevin and Dungannon Swifts," said manager Joe McAree.
