Stephen Parkhouse has agreed a contract with Limavady |
Striker Stephen Parkhouse has moved from Glentoran to Limavady United after just 18 months at the Oval. The 23-year-old former Derry City and Institute player has agreed a deal with the Roesiders up to the end of the 2006-07 season.
Parkhouse suffered an injury setback last season when a stress leg fracture sidelined him for two months.
"We have needed a striker and Stephen will score goals for us," said United manager Paul Kee.
"Stephen was playing out of position with Glentoran but will be an out-and-out target man for us.
"He is a rare commodity. He will score himself and create goals for other players.
"People may look at it as a backward step but Stephen is determined to do well."
