Gerard Lyttle is poised to return to his former club Cliftonville from Lisburn Distillery once he passes a tough medical examination. A one-time favourite at Solitude, Lyttle moved to Whites two seasons ago after he was released by Marty Tabb.
"He picked up a bad injury, but he's been training hard," Reds' boss Liam Beckett told the Belfast Telegraph.
"I'm absolutely delighted to have him and he will give me more clout in the middle of the park."
