Institute have been rocked by the departure of their player of the year Thomas Wray to Dungannon Swifts. Dungannon boss Joe McAree snapped up the 21-year-old when his contract at the North-West club expired this week.
He joins another Swifts new boy Mark McConkey, a midfielder from Ballinamallard United in the move to Stangmore Park.
"Thomas felt he needed a change and wanted to come to Dungannon. We are delighted to get him," said McAree.
"We do not have big money to spend on players, but I would like to think the ones we do get have the potential to become big-name players."
Meanwhile, Dungannon midfielder Rodney McAree has targeted an October comeback after ankle surgery.
