Institute lose Wray to Dungannon
Dungannon Swifts manager Joe McAree
Joe McAree has signed Thomas Wray from Institute
Institute have been rocked by the departure of their player of the year Thomas Wray to Dungannon Swifts.

Dungannon boss Joe McAree snapped up the 21-year-old when his contract at the North-West club expired this week.

He joins another Swifts new boy Mark McConkey, a midfielder from Ballinamallard United in the move to Stangmore Park.

"Thomas felt he needed a change and wanted to come to Dungannon. We are delighted to get him," said McAree.

"We do not have big money to spend on players, but I would like to think the ones we do get have the potential to become big-name players."

Meanwhile, Dungannon midfielder Rodney McAree has targeted an October comeback after ankle surgery.
