Newly-crowned Scottish Premier League champions Rangers are to play a pre-season friendly against Belfast side Linfield on 16 July. The fixture was confirmed on Monday by Linfield chairman David Crawford who said he was delighted to have the Glasgow giants back at Windsor Park.
Rangers last played in Belfast in July 2003 when they beat Linfield 3-0.
Linfield will parade the Setanta Cup in front of their fans having won it in Dublin on Saturday.
They beat Shelbourne 2-0 to become the inaugural winners of the All-Ireland competition.
