Glentoran striker Stephen Parkhouse misses annual 'Big Two' clash |
Glentoran's Stephen Parkhouse will miss the Boxing Day showdown with Linfield after he was handed a one-match by the IFA's Disciplinary Committee. The ban has left Oval boss Roy Coyle fuming. He believes the ban should have been left until after Christmas.
"I'm upset by this insensitivity show by people sitting in judgment and not adopting a rational approach," he said.
Bans were also handed out to Glenavon's Aaron Black, Armagh's Johnny Cowan and Distillery's Gareth McKeown.
Black and Cowan both received one-match suspensions and will miss the Carnegie Irish League action on Boxing Day.
McKeown, who was handed a two-match ban, will also be an absentee for the Whites' clash with Loughgall on New Year's Eve.
