Barry Meehan and Marty Lavery were on target for Armagh |
Armagh City moved up to 10th place in the Carnegie Premier League thanks to a convincing home win over Coleraine. They are now a point ahead of Marty Quinn's Bannsiders who suffered a fourth defeat in five league matches.
City skipper Alan Murphy stole in to glance a header past Davy O'Hare on 28 minutes and Barry Meehan netted from an acute angle just before half-time.
Martin Lavery got the third four minutes from time as Armagh avenged an early-season defeat in the CIS Cup.
Coleraine had a couple of chances early on as Darren Boyce headed wide from a Stephen Carson free and Ciaran Ferry was also just off target.
But Quinn's men lacked firepower in the second period and did not look like getting back into the game.
