Phillip Matthews was deceived by Dwayne Nelson's free-kick |
Limavady goalkeeper Dwayne Nelson scored a freak goal as both sides took a point from a game which saw Lisburn Distillery finish with nine men. Nelson broke the deadlock on 32 minutes when he launched a long ball out of his hands and the ball looped over Phillip Matthews who had raced out of his goal.
The Whites equalised with eight minutes left when John Martin's shot was deflected in by Aaron Callaghan.
Gareth McKeown and Conor Hagan were sent-off in the last few minutes.
McKeown was first to see red in the 90th minute and Hagan followed him down the tunnel in added time.
Francis Murphy should have given Paul Kirk's side the lead on 14 minutes but his shot was cleared off the line by Martin Cuttmore.
After Nelson put his side ahead with a wind assisted effort, mark Magennis saw his effort crash off the Distillery crossbar on 55 minutes.
