John Martin opened the scoring for Lisburn Distillery |
A late Andrew Dickson goal gave Lisburn Distillery the honours in an exciting game at New Grosvenor. An early John Martin goal and another by Darren Armour saw the Whites take a 2-1 half-time lead after Damien Whitehead had netted for Institute.
The Whites looked to be heading for victory before Calvin Mooney scored Institute's equaliser.
Distillery's win consolidates their mid-table position and stay ahead of Institute in the Irish League.
It was Martin who opened the scoring in the ninth minute when he was on hand tuck away a Paul Muir deflected shot from six yards.
Institute were level in the 18th minute when Whitehead rose to head home a Ryan Coyle cross.
The Whites interval lead came when Armour's over-head kick from close-head from a Muir back-post header found the target in the 25th minute.
Mooney then broke clear and in a one-to-to-one with Michael Dougherty levelled the scoreline again.
But it was substitute Dickson who grabbed the glory when he pushed in Francis Murphy's cross with 14 minutes remaining.
