Glentoran recovered from a goal down to win and keep up their pursuit of Linfield at the top of the table. Tommy McCallion put Institute ahead with a spectacular chip over advancing goalkeeper Elliot Morris on 17 minutes.
Colin Nixon headed in Gavin Melaugh's corner at the back post on 24 minutes and Chris Morgan put the Glens ahead with a header in first-half added time.
Gary Browne completed a fine Glentoran move by knocking the ball home into the left-hand corner after 64 minutes.
McCallion's opener came after the former Glens forward picked up the ball and ran half the length of the pitch.
Darren Lockhart saw his header cleared off the line by McCallion at the other end and Nixon also went close with a headed effort.
After Nixon's equaliser, Morgan grabbed his sixth goal of the season from inside the six-yard area.
Browne's fine right-foot shot secured the points for the Glens, who still trail Linfield by two points.
