Dungannon Swifts stretched their unbeaten run to five games in the Irish Premier League when they crushed Newry City 4-0 at the Marshes. Gary Bownes ran on to a David Scullion through ball to score got the opening goal on 27 minutes.
Bownes scored his fifth goal in four games to make it 2-0 after 50 minutes squeezing a shot past Andy Coleman.
Full-back Ryan McLaughlin and Timmy Adamson scored further goals to make it 13 points from 15 for Dungannon.
McLaughlin headed in on 64 minutes from J P Gallagher's left-wing corner while Adamson bundled in nine minutes later from a Stephen Shaw corner.
Newry have now gone five matches without a win in the Premier League, losing three of them.
