Gary Bownes put Dungannon ahead
Gary Bownes scored two goals in Dungannon's win
Dungannon Swifts stretched their unbeaten run to five games in the Irish Premier League when they crushed Newry City 4-0 at the Marshes.

Gary Bownes ran on to a David Scullion through ball to score got the opening goal on 27 minutes.

Bownes scored his fifth goal in four games to make it 2-0 after 50 minutes squeezing a shot past Andy Coleman.

Full-back Ryan McLaughlin and Timmy Adamson scored further goals to make it 13 points from 15 for Dungannon.

McLaughlin headed in on 64 minutes from J P Gallagher's left-wing corner while Adamson bundled in nine minutes later from a Stephen Shaw corner.

Newry have now gone five matches without a win in the Premier League, losing three of them.
