Armagh City 0-1 Ballymena United
Tommy Wright
Tommy Wright saw his side take a much-needed win at Armagh
Ballymena took a deserved win at Holm Park thanks to an unstoppable 70th minute shot from Vincent Sweeney.

Armagh goalkeeper Paul Rice denied Stephen Collier, Sweeney, Rory Hamill and Gary Haveron in the first half.

Johnny McSorley shot over for Armagh, while in the second half United stopper William McFrederick produced a great save from a David Ward free-kick.

Stuart King had a chance to net for United, who have now scored just two goals in five league matches.

Rice began by palming away a Collier drive after just two minutes and then tipped Sweeney's header over the bar.

A low save from Hamill was followed by a fine stop from Haveron's effort.
