Loughgall picked up their first point of 2005 with a battling draw away to fourth-placed Limavady United. The First Division champions had gone behind to a 17th minute opener from United's top scorer Kevin Ramsey.
But Jim Gardiner's side equalised early in the second period with Clifford Sterritt heading in his fourth goal in six matches.
Loughgall had Paul Harbinson sent-off for two yellow card tackles on Paul Brown but they held on for the draw.
With skipper Lee Patrick back in their line-up after injury, United started the better and took the lead with Ramsey firing past Marc Robinson after Stuart McCallum's cross fell for him.
Patrick had a strong shot strike the Loughgall crossbar later in the first half.
United were caught cold just 75 seconds into the second half when Sterritt glanced a header past keeper Michael Doherty after the ball had come over from the left.
Despite Loughgall going down to 10 men, Limavady could not find a winner.
Given the high standards they have set themselves under manager Tommy Wright, the Roesiders will consider the result two points dropped.
