David Scullion's equaliser secured a point for Dungannon Swifts |
Cliftonville moved top of CIS Cup Group Four after this draw with the Swifts at Stangmore Park on Friday night. The Reds took a 23rd minute lead when keeper Gavin Cushley failed to hold a shot and Mark Holland slotted home.
Timmy Adamson's 12-yard finish brought Dungannon level on 48 minutes only for Nathan McConnell to head Cliftonville ahead again in the 55th minute.
David Scullion equalised five minutes later with a rebound strike after Kevin Keegan's shot hit the base of a post.
Cliftonville are now on five points after three games with Dungannon and Lisburn Distillery a point behind.
"Neither team got their foot on the ball, it was like a hot potato for the whole match," said Dungannon boss Joe McAree.
"I am disappointed in the way we played, we will have to do better than that."
