Linfield warmed up for their crucial Uefa Cup game with Halmstads on Thursday night with a comfortable CIS Cup Group Three win at Windsor Park. The Blues dominated the game and Glenn Ferguson missed a penalty before the homeside took a deserved lead.
William Murphy headed across for Noel Bailie to nod in on 58 minutes.
Ferguson set up strike partner Peter Thompson to make the game safe with a minute to go and leave David Jeffrey's team three points clear at the top.
