Blues game to go ahead as planned
Linfield manager David Jeffrey
Jeffrey has agreed to go ahead with Wednesday's CIS Cup game
Linfield's CIS Cup Group Three game at Limavady United on Wednesday night will go ahead as planned.

Blues boss David Jeffrey has agreed to play the game even though he has three players involved with the Northern Ireland U21 squad.

Peter Thompson, Michael Gault and Chris Kingsberry are included in Roy Millar's panel to face the Republic of Ireland at Mourneview Park on Tuesday night.

It was originally thought that the game would have to be rearranged.

However, due to the possibility that it would lead to a fixture backlog, Jeffrey will delve into his panel for the game.

Linfield had no game at the weekend following the Uefa Cup exertions last Thursday when they held Halmstads BK to 1-1 draw in Sweden.
