Sean Armstrong was on target on his competitive debut as he helped the Whites to a 2-0 win in the CIS Cup Group Four game at Stangmore Park. The former Coleraine striker ran onto Andrew Dickson's header before slotting home a 14th minute opener.
Amstrong was the provider for the second goal on 70 minutes as Dickson fired past Gavin Cushley.
Michael Ward went close for the Swifts while Distillery midfielder Ryan McCann hit the crossbar in injury time.
