A Sean Friars' strike in the 26th minute gave Cliftonville the spoils in a low-key CIS Cup game against Larne who finished with 10 men at Inver Park. The Reds deservedly went ahead in the 26th minute when Friars headed home a cross from Conor Downey.
Larne had the ball in the net in the 44th minute, but the goal was ruled out for a foul in the build-up.
Larne's James McDonagh was sent off in the 79th minute after a second yellow card following a foul on Liam Fleming.
