Striker Mark Holland is wanted by Cliftonville |
Cliftonville have not given up on signing striker Mark Holland from Lisburn Distillery despite having an initial cash offer turned down. Holland's days at New Grosvenor came to an end in a dispute with manager Paul Kirk and he has returned to playing for Amateur League club Killyleagh YC.
Cliftonville manager Liam Beckett is understood to have rejected a player-exchange involving Sean Friars.
Two other Premier clubs are understood to be interested in the player.
Holland joined Distillery from Killyleagh in 2001 and in his first season helped them win the First Division title.
