Thomas "Jock" Gilmour has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's birthday honours for his unstinting work over 60 years as a sports physiotherapist. Jock, 88, was involved with Portadown, Crusaders and Bangor in the Irish Premier League and also with the NI Commonweath Games teams for many years.
"He has been a true and loyal servant to Northern Ireland sport," said Irish FA President Jim Boyce.
"There's no better man than Jock to receive this award. It's very fitting."
