| Derry's David Forde made two good first-half saves | Derry City's last home match of the Eircom League Premier Division season ended in stalemate on Saturday night. Double cup holders Longford had the best openings of the first half but shots from Shane Barrett and Alan Kirby were saved by Derry's David Forde. Then it was the turn of Longford keeper Stephen O'Brien to save his side on 57 minutes, making a superb stop from Alan Murphy's shot. Barrett and Stephen Paisley went close for the Midlanders late in the game.
