Mark Dickson scored both goals for Larne at Loughgall |
Mark Dickson scored twice to get Larne back on the victory trail against Loughgall who had two players sent-off. A 21st minute opener and a penalty early in the second half were enough to lift Larne after their 6-0 hammering at Limavady a week earlier.
But Loughgall's Stevie Coulter is facing disciplinary action after pushing the referee in the back following his 45th minute dismissal.
Keith Percy was sent-off for a second bookable offence on 49 minutes.
Percy's foul on Martin Rogers led to Dickson netting the second for Larne from the penalty spot.
Earlier Dickson had slotted in from 15 yards after Stephen Loverso had flicked the ball on.
Coulter's straight red card was for raising his hands on Larne's Gary Wray even though the Loughgall player had just won a free-kick.
That was bad enough, but as he left the pitch he shoved referee Adrian McCourt and that is bound to land him in more trouble.
