Fitzgerald quits Portadown
|  Dean Fitzgerald's contract at Portadown was up |
Portadown midfielder Dean Fitzgerald has left the club to move to FAI Cup winners Longford Town. Fitzgerald's contract at Shamrock Park was finished which means that he will be able to line out for Longford straight away. The Dubliner previously played for Newry Town. Fitzgerald suffered injury problems last season although he did break back into the Portadown first team squad towards the end of the campaign.
