Members of England's 1966 winning World Cup team were joined by England manager Fabio Capello at Wembley to unveil a bronze bust of Sir Alf Ramsey.
The sculpture of the former England boss, crafted by Philip Jackson, will be displayed in the Wembley tunnel.
Former England full-back George Cohen said: "It's a tremendous sculpture and it's like he's in the room with you.
"That determined look on his face is exactly how I remember him and tells you exactly who was in charge."
The World Cup winner added: "When you were in the presence of Sir Alf there was a definite sense of 'Gentleman, we're here to do business' and the sculpture really captures that feeling."

Capello, who has been likened to Ramsey by Sir Bobby Charlton, said he was overwhelmed by the presence of so many World Cup winners at the event held to boost England's chances of hosting the World Cup in 2018.
"It is not easy for me to talk in front of world champions, it's very emotional," said Capello.
"I remember my history in football and the first time I met Sir Bobby Charlton, it's magical for me and incredible to be here among these players."
On England's chances of winning the World Cup next year in South Africa, Charlton added: "I think England have a great chance of winning. I'm not getting carried away because it's a tough game and you are playing against the best in the world.
"It would be sensational if we could win but I don't want to put any more pressure on them."
