Pearce believes his team should play at Wembley at least once every two years

England Under-21s will play their Euro 2011 qualifier against Portugal at Wembley on 14 November.

Coach Stuart Pearce has made the move suggesting it will aid the players' future development.

"The experience is the main driver. [It can] prepare players for regular games here," he said.

Pearce's team reached the final of this year's European Championships in Sweden, but were comprehensively beaten 4-0 in the final by Germany.

The Group Nine match against Portugal will take place on the same day as Fabio Capello's senior side take on Brazil in Qatar.
