Coventry's Kieren Westwood is in the Republic of Ireland squad
Coventry goalkeeper Kieren Westwood has come into the Republic of Ireland squad for Wednesday's friendly against Poland following the withdrawal of Dean Kiely.
The uncapped 24-year-old was summoned after West Bromwich Albion veteran Kiely sprained a wrist in training.
Westwood will compete with Scunthorpe's Joe Murphy to provide the back-up for first-choice Shay Given.
Reading striker Noel Hunt also joined the squad after skipper Robbie Keane and winger Aiden McGeady pulled out.
Hull duo Caleb Folan and Paul McShane, as well as Manchester City defender Richard Dunne and Given, trained with their team-mates on Monday.
Given was allowed to join up late so he could be at home for his son's birthday, while Hull and Manchester City met in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday.
