Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington has been at Euro 2008 to watch World Cup qualifier opponents Poland and the Czech Republic in action.
The Czechs beat hosts Switzerland 1-0 in their opener while Poland were defeated 2-0 by Germany and Worthington is not worried by what he saw.
"They have good players but there's nothing there to frighten me," he said.
"I honestly believe we can pick up points against either of the sides and especially in Belfast."
He added: "It's something we must also look to do away from home.
"We can get points as long as we are fully focused and mentally ready to go and attack the situation come September.
"It has given me a good insight prior to playing them and we can build up a picture of each team."
Worthington's team faces the Czech Republic at Windsor Park on 10 September while they take on Poland at the same venue on 28 March.
Northern Ireland also play Slovakia, Slovenia and San Marino in Group Three.
