Bradley will bring his USA side to take on Capello's England

The Football Association has confirmed England will play summer friendlies against the USA and the Czech Republic.

The USA, who last played at Wembley in 1994, will return on 28 May as England prepare for their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign.

And Czech Republic will follow their lead, visiting Wembley on 20 August.

"Our goal is to play against good opponents in environments that really challenge our team," US head coach Bob Bradley told the USA website.

"The quality of the English team makes this a fantastic opportunity for us", added Bradley.

The addition of the England match means the USA will now travel to Europe for three friendlies with dates scheduled with Poland on 26 March and Spain on 4 June.

England and the USA will meet for the 11th time in London and for the first time since 2005, when England won 2-1 in Chicago.

The American side famously defeated England at the 1950 World Cup with a 1-0 win in Brazil but overall England hold a 6-2 head-to-head record.

Czech Republic's match against England will be the first between the two sides since England's 2-0 victory at Wembley in 1998.

The friendly will be the first game for the Czech Republic after June's European Championship in Austria and Switzerland.

England's next international match sees them take on France at the Stade de France on 26 March.

England boss Fabio Capello announced his provisional 30-man squad for that match on Thursday and handed a recall to Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham, who is searching for his 100th cap.
