Nigel Worthington's hopes of attracting Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara to Northern Ireland colours have been dashed. O'Hara could have qualified to play for Northern Ireland but because he is aged over 21, he is now ineligible as he has represented England Under-17s.
Worthington will announce his squad on Friday for the game against Bulgaria.
Damien Johnson will return to the squad after injury while Linfield's Peter Thompson may also be included.
