Bilic is hoping to seal Euro 2008 qualification before meeting England |
Croatia boss Slaven Bilic has named his squad for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Macedonia and England. Manchester City defender Vedran Corluka is included, along with Portsmouth midfield man Niko Kranjcar and Arsenal striker Eduardo Da Silva.
However, Bilic will be without Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic, who was in line for his debut but has suffered a knee injury.
Croatia need a draw in Macedonia on Saturday to qualify.
They face England four days later at Wembley when the home side will go through with a win if Russia drop points in Israel on Saturday.
Bilic said: "We are facing two very difficult away games. We have nothing to be afraid of.
"We wanted to secure our Euro 2008 spot before these matches, but it didn't turn out like that."
Dinamo Zagreb forward Mario Mandzukic has been promoted from the Under-21 side to replace Kalinic.
