Aaron Hughes is back in the N Ireland squad for the qualifiers |
Northern Ireland welcome back captain Aaron Hughes, Jonny Evans and Damien Johnson for the Euro 2008 qualifiers away to Latvia and Iceland next month. The trio missed last Wednesday's 3-1 win over Liechtenstein at Windsor Park but are named in a 24-man squad.
Hughes had an ankle injury, a groin problem kept out Evans and Johnson pulled out with a hamstring injury.
Sean Webb and Stuart Elliott stay in the panel after being drafted in as cover for the Liechtenstein game.
Northern Ireland moved second in their qualifying group after defeating the European minnows in Nigel Worthington's first match as manager.
Fulham striker David Healy took his international tally to 31 goals with a brace while Burnley teenager Kyle Laverty was also on the scoresheet.

Northern Ireland currently occupy one of the two qualifying spots but they face a tough run-in with four of their last five games away.
Latvia are first up on 8 September followed by the trip to Iceland four days later.
