Wales drew with Bulgaria in a friendly last August |
Wales have set up a friendly match with Bulgaria for next season. The match will take place on Wednesday, 22 August, in the eastern Bulgarian city of Bourgas.
John Toshack's side will use the match as warm-up ahead of their Euro 2008 qualifier with Germany in Cardiff on Saturday, 8 September.
Wales drew 0-0 with Bulgaria, coached by former captain Hristo Stoichkov, in a friendly at Swansea's Liberty Stadium in mid-August last year.
Stoichkov has come in for heavy criticism from the media and fans in recent months, with calls made for his resignation after last month's 0-0 draw with Albania in a Euro 2008 qualifier.
Wales have won only once in five previous meetings against Bulgaria.
Bourgas is on the Black Sea and the club PFC Naftex play their home matches at the ground.
