Updates: BBC Five Live Sport, BBC Sport website and mobile Reading striker Kevin Doyle and Aiden McGeady of Celtic have won places in the Republic of Ireland team to face Slovakia in Wednesday's Euro qualifier.
Doyle, a second half substitute against Wales, replaces skipper Robbie Keane who is suspended.
McGeady, a late sub at Croke Park on Saturday, wins a starting role in place of Leeds United's Jonathan Douglas.
Shay Given will captain the Irish side and equal Packie Bonner's record of 80 appearances as Republic goalkeeper.
Given hurt his knee in a collision with Craig Bellamy in the first half of the match against Wales but has been passed fit.
Stephen Ireland, who scored the winner on Saturday before coming off with a thigh injury, has also been cleared to play.
The Republic, having taken 10 points from a possible 12, have hauled themselves into Group D contention.
A fourth successive qualifying group win on Wednesday against a team ranked 14 places above them at 37 will see them clinch a place in the history books.
On the three previous occasions the Republic have achieved such a feat they went on to reach the 1990, 1994 and 2002 World Cup finals.
