Republic of Ireland boss Steve Staunton has a fully-fit squad of 23 to select from for Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Wales at Croke Park.

Staunton has not revealed his side but has confirmed that Stephen Ireland will start in midfield.

The Manchester City player has recovered from an ankle problem.

West Brom defender Paul McShane and Reading midfield man Stephen Hunt have also got over knocks and both took a full part in training on Friday.

"Everyone is fit so that is a nice headache for me," said Staunton.

"We have had plenty of injuries so to have a full complement is marvellous.

"From our point of view the preparation has been excellent."
