Scotland's Euro 2008 qualifier away to Italy on 28 March will be played at the Stadio San Nicola, Bari. The World Cup winners have chosen the 58,000 capacity home of AS Bari, but no decision has been reached on the ticket allocation for travelling support.
Scotland have played on Italian soil five times and have tasted defeat on each occasion.
The last trip was for World Cup qualifying in March 2005, with Scotland losing 2-0 in Milan.
Scotland, who lead qualifying Group B after four games, face a home tie with Georgia before the visit to the south east of Italy.
Scotland are locked on nine points with France, with the Italians two points further back.
