Northern Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez has said that he is likely to step down from the role after the current European Championship campaign. Sanchez was close to quitting the Northern Ireland job in September before being coaxed to remain on.
However, Sanchez remains keen to get back into club management.
"The likelihood is that whenever the campaign finishes, I need to be looking forward to my next job," Sanchez told the Sunday Life.
"In the meantime, the IFA (Irish Football Association) are in agreement with me, that if a job comes up that interests me and would allow me to continue with Northern Ireland, then I would be given permission to speak to the relevant club.
"I am committed to finishing the campaign because I want to see how well we can do."
Sanchez was interviewed for the Ipswich Town job in the summer but the position was given to former Northern Ireland international Jim Magilton.
Despite media reports linking him with other jobs, Sanchez says that he has not been in contention for any other club positions.
Sanchez's Northern Ireland future was in doubt in September because of his annoyance over media coverage of the team.
