Wales recall Coyne for Bulgaria
Danny Coyne
Coyne has missed 12 months with a cruciate knee ligament injury
Danny Coyne, Mark Delaney and Sam Ricketts are in Wales' squad for the friendly with Bulgaria on 15 August.

First-choice keeper Coyne missed 12 months with a cruciate knee ligament injury, but played for Burnley on the club's pre-season tour of Italy.

Lewis Price drops to the Under-21 squad to face Israel in Herzelia (16 August).

Aston Villa defender Delaney struggled with knee problems for much of last year, while Hull full-back Ricketts' foot injury is not as bad as feared.

Ex-Swansea man Ricketts will be making an early return to the Liberty Stadium for the game, Wales' last before the Euro 2008 qualifiers start against the Czech Republic in Teplice on 2 September.

Youngsters Jason Brown, Lewin Nyatanga, David Cotterill and Joe Ledley are all included, suggesting that they are now fixtures in the senior squad.

Jason Koumas is also in, despite his late withdrawal from Wales' summer tour squad and his failure to attend pre-season training with West Brom.

Wales have beaten Bulgaria just once in their previous four meetings, a 1-0 win at Wrexham in 1983.

Gareth Bale
Bale drops back to the Under-21 squad

Gareth Bale and Craig Davies join Price in the U21s for their Uefa Championship tie, along with uncapped Cardiff defender Darcy Blake.

But Ramon Calliste and Rhoys Wiggins are out for lengthy spells with serious leg injuries.

Manager Brian Flynn's side are still unsure whether they will have to travel to Israel.

Discussions with Uefa and the Israeli FA have failed to reach a solution, with the Football Association of Wales unhappy about having to send their youngsters to the Middle East.
