Northampton striker Scott McGleish has signed a new two-year deal to extend his stay at the Sixfields Stadium. The 32-year-old has scored 24 goals this season to help seal promotion before undergoing hernia surgery.
"Scott is up and about and we're delighted he has accepted the deal," Northampton boss Colin Calderwood told the club website.
McGleish joined Northampton in June, 2004 following earlier spells with Colchester and Barnet.
