Hosts Northern Ireland crashed to a second defeat in the European Under-19 Championship when they lost 1-0 to Serbia & Montenegro at Newry. Mal Donaghy's men are bottom of their group but are not mathematically out of the tournament with a final game to be played against Germany on Saturday.
Borko Veselinovic, a product of the Partizan Belgrade academy and currently on loan at Obilic, scored the winner.
He struck 12 minutes from the end to leave Northern Ireland without a point.
In Wednesday's other Group A match, Florian Muller, Eugen Polanski and Kevin-Prince Boateng scored as Germany beat Greece 3-0 to get their first points.
England will be disappointed to have been held to a second 1-1 draw, this time with Armenia.
Matthew Mills got their goal with Gary Leadbitter missing an earlier penalty.
